Second Tuesday Luncheons

April 10: "Home Equipment Safety." Nancy Petrun from Handi Medical will address home equipment safety issues. Information will include tips on how to use equipment effectively and safely. New technologies and engineering advances in equipment will be discussed too.
May 8: "Re-Evaluating Your Investments: An Overview of Retirement Income, Trust Information, Long-Term Care, Etc." The speaker will be an Associate from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
Gentle Yoga Classes, Tuesdays, May 1st - June 5th, 10:00–10:45 AM
A free six-week series of Gentle Yoga classes will be held on every Tuesday beginning May 1st from 10:00–10:45 AM at Hamline Methodist Church (lower level), 1514 Englewood Ave, St. Paul. The class will begin and end with five minutes of relaxation and will focus on strength, balance and flexibility, as well as practical techniques to release tension. CoNNect Networking Group for Persons 50+
CoNNect, “Caring for our Neighbors and Neighborhood,” is a networking group for persons 50+ that meets monthly, 10:30-12:00, every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Hamline Library, 1558 Minnehaha Ave W, St. Paul.
CoNNect’s primary goals are to:
- Share information with other group members, including new or existing resources, what’s happening in the Hamline Midway community, and updates about volunteer and work projects.
- Provide support to group members by offering suggestions and assistance with various issues facing seniors.
