About Us

History & Mission

A small neighborhood non-profit, Hamline Midway Elders (HME) was founded in 2001 as A Living at Home/Block Nurse Program by a group of volunteers and community leaders.  HME is now a member of The Living at Home Network, but its mission is still the same: to provide volunteer and professional assistance to enable elders to remain in their own homes with independence, dignity and choice.

As in the past, we continue to offer tailored assistance to do whatever it takes to help seniors remain well at home.
