Second Tuesday LuncheonsJoin us on the Second Tuesday of each month for a chef-prepared meal, followed by a presentation of interest to older adults.
The next lunch is Tuesday, August 11 Lunch begins at 11:30 (please do not arrive early, as we will still be setting up!), and the presentation begins at 12:15. Our August 11 luncheon presentation will be from the League of Women Voters, Saint Paul to prepare for the upcoming election. The presentation will include information about: registering to vote-as a new voter or voter who needs an address change; how to check your registration, find candidate information, locate the ballot, and determine the best way to vote considering mail-in ballots, early in person voting, voting on election day. League volunteers will be available to help with online information and to answer individual questions. Suggested donation of $8 helps to cover food costs but is not required. Transportation can be provided for neighborhood seniors. |
